Meet the New Faces at NTCIC

With the continued success of NT Solar in conjunction with our recently created Climate Impact and Revitalization Fund, the rebounding HTC market, and the impending New Markets Tax Credit award announcement, our growing team will help us continue our track record of industry expertise and impactful investments across the country.

Abdul Fawzi

Staff Accountant

On April 30th, Abdul Fawzi joined the NTCIC team as our new Staff Accountant. He will work with Suzanne Brown, VP of Finance, and Rudy Rodelas, Senior Accounting Manager, to oversee the operational accounting needs of the company. Abdul joins the team with over 10 years of accounting experience, having most recently served as Staff Accountant with the Trump International Hotel in Washington DC. Justin Riley

Accounting Manager – Investment Services

NTCIC welcomed Justin Riley to the team on May 24th as the newly created position of Accounting Manager of Investment Services. He will work with Suzanne Brown, VP of Finance, to oversee project-related funding and accounting operations. Justin has over seven years of experience in the commercial real estate and accounting industry, having most recently served as a Senior Accountant for Baker Tilly. Marcus Jones

Real Estate Investment Analyst

On July 19th, Marcus Jones joined the team in the newly created position of Real Estate Investment Analyst. In this role, he will support NTCIC’s pipeline development and initial due diligence for origination and underwriting. Marcus comes to NTCIC with over five years of experience in commercial real estate industry research, analytics, and account management, having most recently served as a Business Development Associate with SS&C Technologies. Lan Sasa

Director of Solar Project Management

NT Solar, a subsidiary of NTCIC, welcomed Lan Sasa on July 19th as the newly created position of Director of Solar Project Management. She will partner with Karin Berry, VP & Managing Director of NT Solar, to lead transaction closings and asset management transitions. Lan has over 11 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, having most recently served as VP & Assistant Director of Renewable Energy Investments for U.S. Bank. Lan holds a B.A. in History from Oberlin College and her J.D. from the Saint Louis University School of Law. Kevin Carder

Portfolio Analyst

NTCIC’s Acquisitions team was pleased to welcome Kevin Carder on July 26th as a Portfolio Analyst. In this newly created position, he will coordinate with the Acquisitions, Asset Management, and Solar departments, as well as their respective teams, to facilitate internal communications and enhance the investor experience. Kevin has over five years of experience in commercial real estate research and analytics, having most recently served as a Real estate Analyst for Urban Pace, a Long and Foster Company. Kevin holds a B.B.A. from James Madison University and is a Developing Leader of the NAOIP Commercial Real Estate Development Association. | Kevin Carder on LinkedIn

Alyssa Watt

Senior Asset Manager

NTCIC welcomed Alyssa Watt to the team on July 26th as a Senior Asset Manager, with a focus on renewable energy investments. Working with Bret Mosher, VP of Asset Management, she will manage the rapidly growing investment portfolio of NT Solar from financial closing through the compliance period. Alyssa has over five years of experience in the renewable energy industry, having most recently served as Asset Manager for Consolidated Edison Clean Energy Businesses. Alyssa holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Villanova University and an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University. | Alyssa Watt on LinkedIn

Anthony Maruca

Project Manager

Anthony Maruca will be joining NTCIC’s Project Management team on August 2nd. As a Project Manager, Anthony will be working with Heather Buethe, Director of Project Management, to perform due diligence and underwriting activities for prospective tax credit investments and facilitate smooth financial transactions. Anthony has over eight years of tax credit finance and underwriting experience in the community development industry and most recently worked for Civic Builders as the Director of Real Estate Finance. Anthony holds a B.A. in Economics from Williams College and an M.B.A. from the Bloustein School at Rutgers University. | Anthony Maruca on LinkedIn
